The FKM 90A is a 90-Durometer General Purpose Black FKM O-ring material. Compared to the more widely used 75a durometer version of this material, GFS FKM 90A can be utilized for higher pressure applications that would cause a softer material to extrude and fail. O-rings in this material can be used in combination with a PTFE Back-Up Ring for applications with extremely high pressures. This material has a broad spectrum of excellent resistance to a variety of chemicals and performs well at high temperatures. Due to FKM's wide range compatibility, temperature range, low compression set, and excellent aging characteristics, FKM is considered one of the most significant elastomers developed in recent history.
