Vacuum Hardware and Fittings are an assortment of components that together build a vacuum chamber or system.  These types of products include flanges, tees, crosses, elbows, nipples, bellows, end caps, and more.  Furthermore, the products listed also come in multiple flange styles.

The type of flange style varies on the level of vacuum trying to be achieved.  For those trying to reach high vacuum ( 10-1…10-6 Torr) should use ISO.  For ultra-high (10-6…10-9 Torr) or extremely high (<10-9 Torr) should use ConFlat (CF).

Vacuum Feedthroughs

A vacuum feedthrough facilitates the transfer of power, motion, fluids, or gases into a vacuum chamber from the outside. Vacuum feedthroughs are hermetically sealed to maintain your high vacuum or ultra-high vacuum environment when in use. Our selection of hermetic feedthroughs includes electrical feedthroughs, fluid and gas feedthroughs, rotary motion feedthroughs, and transition feedthroughs.

Vacuum Viewports

Viewports, also known as windows or sight glasses, are commonly used to observe or illuminate processes inside a vacuum chamber. In optical applications, viewports transmit electromagnetic radiation into or out of a vacuum chamber. Other applications benefitting from the equipment of a vacuum viewport to a system include general viewing, precision lasers, infrared imaging, and research utilizing harsh environments and thermal shock.  We offer these vacuum viewports with borosilicate glass, quartz, fused silica, sapphire, zinc selenide, magnesium fluoride, and calcium fluoride windows and designs rated for high and ultra-high vacuum (UHV) applications.

Vacuum Flanges & Fittings

We offer flanges & fittings in ConFlat (CF), ISO-QF/LF, and ASA/ANSI. All flanges are manufactured on state-of-the-art CNC (computer numerical control) lathes to ensure consistency with dimensional tolerances and extremely fine surface finishes. Water-soluble, non-sulfur-based coolants are used during the manufacturing process. The flanges are cleaned in an ultrasonic deionized water-based cleaning system and vacuum packaged free from visible particulates and oils, ready for use in any vacuum application.

Quick Disconnect

Quick disconnect fittings, also called quick connect couplings, are a fast and easy way to make and break a vacuum seal onto metal or glass tubing. These useful fittings can be welded, brazed, soldered, or flange-mounted onto your vacuum system, chamber, or flange. They are commonly used to mount vacuum measurement gauges, feedthroughs, and other accessories. Quick disconnects consist of a body, O-ring, retaining ring, and nut. As the nut is hand-tightened, it compresses the O-ring onto the outer diameter of metal or glass tubing.

Hybrid Adapters

The hybrid adapter fittings allow vacuum users to connect two dissimilar vacuum flanges or a vacuum flange to a fitting used in conjunction with vacuum process (Swagelok®, VCR®, NPT). To minimize the effect this transition fitting has on conductance, hybrid adapters are designed with the shortest length and with the largest inner diameter possible. Please note that hybrid adapters are not used to change sizes within one flange family. Fittings used to connect two differently sized flanges from within the same vacuum flanges family are called reducer fittings.
