Vacuum Pumps

Vacuum Pumps

A vacuum pump system is designed to remove various types of molecules (air and gas) in order to create a clean environment.  This can be achieved using a variety of types of vaccum pumps.  IES provides pumps for wet and dry environements and our product line includes cryogenic pumps, turbo molecular pumps, and cryochillers.

IES provides an experienced sales team to help you chose the right vacuum pump based upon your application.

Cryogenic Pumps

Cryogenic coldheads are used in a number of cooling applications involving electronics and superconducting magnets. With the addition of a vacuum vessel and condensing arrays, a cold head becomes a cryogenic vacuum pump or a cryogenic water vapor pump, commonly known as cryopumps.

Wet Vacuum Pumps

Due to their rugged design and large internal clearances, piston pumps have the unique ability to ingest debris and continue to operate. In addition, their simple design makes it possible for on-site maintenance from valve deck changes to full overhaul.

Dry Vacuum Pumps

Dry vacuum pumps have managed to maintain their popularity in many industries, especially those requiring the evacuation of large manually loaded vacuum chambers. Due to their rugged design and large internal clearances, dry pumps have the unique ability to ingest debris and continue to operate.

Turbo Molecular Pumps

Turbo molecular pumps consist of moving and stator blades arranged on multiple levels. Gas molecules inbound from the high vacuum side enter the moving blades and try to exit in various directions. However, the angle and rotation of the blades cause the molecules to move toward the exhaust end and through the quickest path in the stator

Cryochillers

Our cryochillers offer a fast "cool down" for shorter cycle times.  It provides more efficient water vapor pumping, and manufactured in a small fooprint.  The cryochillers also have a fast defrost and a comprehensive digital control package and decreases pump down times by 25% to 90%.  With these types of pumps you can attain a deeper vacuum, improve deposition quality, and eliminate costly LN2 usage for fast payback.
