An Advanced Energy Pyrometer is a state-of-the-art instrument designed to measure the temperature of an object by detecting its thermal radiation. Unlike traditional contact-based methods such as thermocouples and RTDs (Resistance Temperature Detectors), pyrometers offer non-contact temperature measurement. They rely on the fundamental concept of Planck's Law, which describes the relationship between the intensity of thermal radiation emitted by an object and its temperature. This emission of radiation, usually in the form of infrared light, is captured by the pyrometer and processed to determine the object's temperature.
