Vacuum Flanges and Fittings are a multitude of components used to create an ideal vacuum chamber environment. These types of flanges and fittings come in a variety of styles including ConFlat (CF), ISO-QF, ISO-LF, ASA/ANSI, and Weldable.
ISO flanges provide a complete range of fittings to mount with tubing sized 1/2 inch up to 20 inches in diameter. The flange system consists of two sexless, 360° rotatable flanges, a centering ring for alignment and support of the sealing ring, and a fastener to compress the seal between the two flanges.
Types of Flanges and Fittings
ConFlat (CF) Flanges
ConFlat flange (CF) UHV components are available in a full range of sizes (1.33″ to 16.50″ outer diameter), fixed and rotatable styles, and tapped or clearance (through hole) bolt hole configurations. Standard materials include 304L, 316LN stainless steel, titanium, and bimetal aluminum and titanium. Other materials such as 316L stainless steel and 6061 T6 aluminum are available upon request.
ISO Flanges
ISO-QF (Quick Flange) and LF (Large Flange) flanges are part of the same family of ISO standard elastomer sealed vacuum components. The three styles of ISO flanges: ISO-QF (ISO-KF or ISO-NW), ISO-LF (ISO-K), and ISO-LFB (ISO-F). Though each style shares the same sealing components, they are distinguished from one another by their fastening profile. ISO-QF flanges are sealed using quick flanges whereas the ISO-LF/LFB flanges are sealed using claw clamps and bolt kits, respectively.
ASA/ANSI Flanges
ASA (ANSI) vacuum flanges provide a complete range of fittings to mount with tubing sized from 1 to 12 inches in diameter. The flange system consists of two flanges, a sealing ring, and bolt fasteners to compress the seal between the two flanges. A pair of ASA flanges must have one grooved flange to accept the sealing ring and one smooth face flange onto which the seal will be made. To ease system assembly, rotatable flanges are available for bolt hole alignment.
Weldable Flanges
Weldable components provide an extensive array of options for the assembly of your pumping lines, exhaust lines, or custom vacuum components.
