Hiden Analytical Gas Analysis by mass spectrometry is fast, sensitive, and quantitative.  Sampling is automatically pumped into the mass spectrometer with a sampling inlet.  A representative sample is viscous flow is continually sampled through the capillary to provide real-time measurements.  IES provides a variety of sampling inlets that are interchangeable.  The switch system is straightforward and the instrument can take data within 15 minutes from startup, for quantitative data the system is run for 24 hours to stabilize the instrument background.  The dynamic range is from ppb to 100 %.  The gas analyzer can analyze any gas or vapor.

The analysis recipe is fully user configurable.  The mass spectrometer data is semi-quantitative without calibration.  With calibration the instrument provides accurate quantitative data.  System software includes a calibration routine that automatically calibrates the instrument.  The calibration includes background subtraction, spectral deconvolution, and normalization.
