Ferrofluid seals operate by creating liquid o-rings that form a hermetic seal around the shaft of the feedthrough. This seal is achieved by utilizing powerful magnetic fields generated by strategically positioned high-strength magnets within the feedthrough's body to retain the ferrofluid. The precise roller bearing spindle design ensures smooth rotation and enables a high number of rotations per minute to be achieved.
