The ASA/ANSI elastomer sealed flange system uses bolt kits to fasten two flanges and Fluorocarbon (FKM) elastomer o-rings to create a seal. In addition to the standard fasteners and seals, adaptive bushings are available to reduce ASA/ANSI bolt holes from 3/4″ to 3/8″. Adaptive bushings are commonly used to connect an ASA/ANSI flange (sizes 200, 300, or 400) to a gate valve with a matching flange
